Hellooooooo, April

So, how's April going for you? Busy month, huh?

Guess where I am today? Where Batman and the Transformers lurk..yep, it's Chicago uolz.

This is one of the perks of being a newsman..one day you're sweltering in the heat in KL and then..ta-da..you're here in the Windy City (Chicago laaaaa!).

But it's no free vacation. Am here attending a convention where the home country has a respresentation in an exciting field. Walaupun begitu, merasa jugak lah pi ke perantauan, ye dak? 

It took me some 20+ hours to get here. Well, more if you want to count in the visa saga at the US embassy (it took a lot of lining up and many, many small little details). For the flight, I took the MAS' new A380. Wow, canggih. Spacious seat at the economy..meaning taklah berlaga2 with your neighbour. Inflight entertainment system was fantastic and no one offers good service like our girls and boys inflight.

This I know coz after landing at Heathrow, I took American Airlines to Chicago. Haiyoooo...sangat kasar la, sangat tak berapa cantik, and inflight entertainment was literally me staring at flight info coz nothing else work. 

Nevertheless, the flight was smooth  (both legs) and customs and immigration were not sticky. We'll see how the rest of the week goes. Good nite!
